Postulants and novices gradually learn the essentials of bedside care. With each day they learn more and more details and more specific points of nursing care. There is always someone available to help them when a question or difficulty arises.

For those women who enter our community with no nursing experience, there is always the fear ... will I be able to do the work? And it is always a revelation to them to see how much they can do.

You can do almost anything if you truly give yourself generously first to God and then to the community and through the community, to the patients we serve. God gives us the grace necessary to do what He has called us to do.
